I've offshore exp on barges since 1993. How can i get a Seaman Book & from where can i get it pls advice?

I'm working in offshore barges in petroleum construction field since 1983. my company made a Seaman book for me, but it is with the company. Now i'm planning to Join new company, Is it possible to get a seaman book on my own? if so from where and how to applyI've offshore exp on barges since 1993.
