Why does the president often get narrow advice from committees and councils that advise him on policy matters?

it is my belief that the advice that he gets is exactly what he is looking for. time after time he has removed the individual that has spoken out, he has surrounded himself with yes men.


he came into office with a waring from the clinton people and he ignored it=911,General advised him that it will take thousands of soldiers to get the job done in Iraq=fired Gen. and a military blunder the likes that this country has ever seen. the list goes on and on. so, i guess, the answer to your question is the president is the reason that he gets poor advice.
