What is some good skin care advice to get clear skin?

i have been using Biore Foaming face wash every night and rubbing alcohol on it every morning and every night. and i use this treatment thing that if you rub it on the spot on ur face where you break out the most it dries it and prevents breakouts. but the thing is, every time i get rid of zits i get new ones. i is 14 and everyone i know has clear skin. what facewash do i need to buy? skin care treatment? what kind? does proActive work? any little techniques that really work? 10 points to the most informative and truthful one! thanx-----

ProActive is good, really, what works about it is the Benzoyl Peroxide, so if you can find a lotion with 2.5% (or so) benzoyl peroxide you can continue to use whatever face wash you like and just apply the lotion w/o having to buy the whole proactive line.What is some good skin care advice to get clear skin?

everyones skin is different, and you are at the age where you will get acne. but you are doing good so far. I recommend using a face mask atleast once a week too, and after you wash and scrub your face, use a moisturizer. and do not pop you pimples, it just makes things worse and you get scars. when you buy a face wash, use one thats specific to your needs. like if you have oily or dry skin, etc. keep your hands and nails clean for when you touch your face, but avoid touching it as much as possible because your hands are dirty. when you wash your face, use warm water to open up your pores, and when you rinse off, use cold water to close them. you can use makeup to cover up pimples. i use merle norman coverup. its expensive but the best coverup ever!!hope this helps!
