Go to dpreview.com and go to the buying guide. You can select the features option and select the features that are important to you, MP count, aperture, shutter speed, focal length range, whatever is important and then compare the models that fit your criteria.

It will bring up the models that are available and then you just have to compare them to see which ones are in your price range. Easy.Could I get some advice on Digital Cameras?
What is inexpensive?

A Hasselblad H3D is now under $25,000.

A EOS-1ds Mark III is still only $8000.

The Nikon D3 is available for almost nothing at $4000.

Venerable Nikon D50 trades at $200.
Get the EX-Z80 CASIO Exilim. It has all the qualities you want, inexpensive and 8.1 megapixels.

-Hope I helped :)
rock a Canon G10 and see how far you get!
