Any idea on how to get really straight hair in about 45-50 minutes?Got any advice on how to get pin straight hair?
.) wash hair with straightening shampoo%26amp;conditioner
.5)Put straightening cream or mousse in hair if you have any.
.) pin hair up as if you were sectioning it for ponytails going from top of head to nape of neck
.) starting with bottom section, blow-dry smooth with round brush (or any brush). Move to the next section up when lower section is dry.
.)When hair is completely dry, plug in flat iron and set to highest temp. Let it heat all the way up.
.5) if you don't have a flat iron, turn on regular clothes iron. The thicker/wavier your hair, the higher you can set it. If you have thin, fine hair don't use a high setting. Also, you will need to test the iron on a small section to make sure that it doesn't burn your hair.
.)Section your hair into at least 4 sections: two top sections as if you were making high pigtails, two lower sections like ponytails.
.5)If using a clothes iron, get a chair and sit at the ironing board.Spread one section of hair over the ironing board with your head (scalp) touching the ironing board.
.) Start with the lowest ponytail. Get the flat iron or iron as close to your scalp as possible without burning yourself. Squeeze the flat iron tight. Move iron slowly down the length of your hair. Repeat 3 times for each section, or until you are satisfied with the results.
.) Do the top two pigtails last. Check in the mirror before each run-through with the iron to make sure you're getting the look you want.
.) When finished, rub hands with leave-in conditioner or some sort of finishing cream and smooth through hair.
This process should take no more than 30-40 minutes whether you use a real flat iron or a clothes iron. Obviously the flat iron is better but I have used a clothes iron many times when in a pinch and have never burned myself or my hair off. The utmost caution is required, though!Got any advice on how to get pin straight hair?
