Could I get some advice on what employers expect at a job interview?

I'm really nervous about my first job interview. Can I please get some advice?Could I get some advice on what employers expect at a job interview?
Congrats on your interview! Try not to be nervous. Be prepared to tell them a little about your background (mainly professional, not necessarily personal). Employers really want to know why YOU think you're the right candidate for the job, so sell yourself.

Listen to what they say they are looking for and try to find a way to describe yourself in a way that makes you fit with their needs. And ask questions. Do a little research about the company before your interview and come up with a few questions to ask them. (You can ask them how many other people they are considering for the job, or what specific skills they are really looking for, etc.)

Make eye contact and stay focused and you'll be fine. Confidence is key.

And, most importantly, do NOT forget to send a follow up ';thank you'; card or email to whomever you interviewed with. Thank them for taking the time to meet with you and reiterate some of the things they said they needed (shows you were paying attention) and remind them of how you can meet those needs.

Best of luck to you!Could I get some advice on what employers expect at a job interview?
Be confident and show them you did your research on the Company. Be pro-active and don't simply answer their questions, ask them questions as well.

Good luck and hope you give your best!
