Where can I post photos to get feedback, advice?

I'm an amateur photographer. I have done a few jobs here and there. I get jobs by where people see the photos that I take of my own family. I haven't really put myself out there.

But, I've been wondering lately if I should put myself out there. I love doing this and would be happy to do phtography as a career. First, I would like to find out what others think. I'm nervous!

Thanks!Where can I post photos to get feedback, advice?
Join ArtWanted where 20,000 artists and photographers post there work. It's great! You will get dozens of comments on everything you post there and they are so helpful. Here's a link...http://www.artwanted.com/artist.cfm?ArtI鈥?/a>Where can I post photos to get feedback, advice?
Go join DeviantArt! DeviantArt is an amazing online community that has been going strong for a long time now. It has members from all over the world, and has pretty much every art form represented except for things like performing arts. You can make an account and have an online gallery there that lets people review your work. There's an option to receive only good feedback, bad feedback, or both -- people can also favorite your work.

It's really an amazing website. If you want to get out there, it's definitely one of the best sites on the internet to do so right now. To learn more you can visit DeviantArt.com. To see my gallery, go to www.subcultureart.deviantart.com/gallery
I think it would be a good idea to put some of your work out there. You can look online for some good sites to post them on. There are quite a few. Just shop around and see.

Best of Luck to you!!!
Flickr allows comments. But it would be from anyone, not just photographers. If you decide to upload photos to flickr, make sure you opt not to allow anyone to download them. This even works when they right click and copy or save as. It only gives them a little pixel of black.

You can also create a MySpace account. Post your photos there and find people and make friends with photographers. Get them to critique your work.

To keep people from saving myspace photos, use the layouts from www.lovemyflash.com. There is one that shows all your photos you have on flickr. When using FLASH instead of HTML, people can't download/copy/save photos.
you could post some images on flickr if you haven't been already, some people on there might be able to give you some constructive criticism. It's probably the best photo sharing site on the net, it's definitely the most popular, so there'd be more helpful people there by default. Also, I think you might be able to use your yahoo account, because flickr's owned by Yahoo, but don't quote me on that...
i would make a website, with a comment box
