Is there a good webb site to get free advice about a virus?

I started getting trojan viruses on my computer this month. Is there a place I can ask how to get rid of them? I have Norton right now.Is there a good webb site to get free advice about a virus?
Hi, Yes I have Norton and yes it has been updated, but it is useless, I now have two other programs installed and cleaned up all the viruses and trojans that Norton could not remove.. some good sites I highly recomend after much searching and searching and its good to check out reviews on antispyware and know which are rogue/scam products and which ones are legitimate, which ones have best detection.

I highly recomend these first two sites, lots of information and unbiased not trying to push a product onto you to buy but just simply gives all information on tests that have been performed on antivirus products, and how well they rated etc..

Go to the symantec website if you know what viruses and trojans you have. They freely provide tools for removal for a bunch of viruses.
Ewido has an excellent free online trojan scanner and removal tool.

Yes.. Visit this site...

http://www.symantec.com
go to free.grisoft.com and download avg, install, update, and run. It's a great program. But if you have Norton, you can try just running update and run new scan.

this may help...
Advise is free all the time...so i advise u to go to http://www.varunhacker.tk and download an anti-virus program and there is a specific software for ur purpose called as Trojan remover on this page..
There are several sites that will do an on line scan.

My favorite is:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

They will scan and remove viruses and spyware for free. The site is compatible with both internet explorer and firefox.

There is also a lot of information on free scans and removal programs at:

Make sure you enable automatic updates in Norton, so your virus protection is always up to date. If you are tired of paying for their subscription service, you can get AVG free here:

If you disable Java in your browser it will help prevent future infections, but some pages will not load properly.

One last thing - if you are using windows XP or ME make sure you have automatic automatic updates enabled. You can find out how to do that here:

There are lot of websites. Let me recommend u some....
