Could you contact NHS direct to ask for a local family planning clinic?

And to those who feel they have the right to post cruel and judgemental advice (and links)- we know NOTHING of this person's history. No-one has the right to judge someone when circumstances are not known. I hope no-one treats you, or your family, in such a heartless manner in their hour of need. Can i go somewhere else to get advice on a termination other than my doctor,i am 27 so too old to go to brook?

local family planning clinic

best of luck
Planned parenthood......no age limits! personal and CONFIDENTIAL info procedures.

Best of Luck
you can see any doctor you like not just your own and they are not allowed to tell anyone what u have seen them about, alternatively you can go to your local family planning centre or pregnancy crisis centre they will be in the phone book.
Yeah, don't get pregnant. Adoption is the best way to go. I will NEVER agree with abortions. Unless there is something medically wrong with you or you were raped by incest, then don't go through with it. Search abortion photos, and see if you change your mind. No offense, but it just makes me mad. sorry that you will not get the advice that you want to hear, from me. Have a nice day!
i think that brook has a website explaining stuff, also the bpas may have a website, they provide terminations privatley at a cost of over 300 but they have pre and post termination counselling.

the family planning clinic at your docs should have a pregnancy ocunsellor attatched to it, may be them?

the ywca is for women aged 11 to 30 and they would give you decison making counselling and support you through the process of termination if that was the path you chose.

good luck whatever you decide
I would suggest going to your GP or local family planning clinic. Everything you tell them is confidential.

I dont think there are any other free services available other than the NHS.

If you go private it doesnt have to go on your medical record-its up to you if you tell your GP.

There are also payment plans available too.
Talk to family planning, most large Uk hospitals have them, if you dont want to talk to your doctor because of his views, see another one, and ignore all those anti-abortionists who try to intimidate you and the likes. Remember, its your body and whatever desision you make is yours.
Are you in the UK or US? In the UK you can go to many other different places such as Marie Stopes, the Family Planning Clinic etc check out their websites for more info - I dont think you can ever be too old
. . . ask around for a Bulgarian . . .
Your never to old for the Brook, although do ring ahead and make an appointment. My local one seems to operate on very strict hours these days.

Failing that, you could try your local NHS drop in centre or NHS Direct 08454647 (that is the whole telephone number by the way, I know it looks short) , they should be able to give you details of who you need to contact.

Thats probably what your Dr would do anyway as there are designated surgerys in some districts that women will automatically be referred to.

Make sure you ask any questions you need to and request counselling if you feel you need it, you have a big decision to make no matter what you do and you can never be over supported.

My thoughts are with you hun, good luck and be safe whatever you decide.
If you belong to a church, talk to your pastor. If you don't, you may want to go to a Methodist pastor because he or she will help you decide for yourself whether or not this is what you really want to do.

It's a very tough decision and a good pastor will go over your family situation, your finances, and the implications of keeping the baby, adopting it out, or aborting it without forcing you to choose his option. The Methodist church has a large number of female pastors, too, who will empathize more with you.

Remember that the final decision is between you and God. Don't bow to unfair pressure from groups that will melt away from you once you are too far along to abort.

If the baby is going to be healthy, you have one set of problems to worry about. If the child is going to be disabled, it's a totally different ball game. Since I don't know particulars, that's the best advice I can give you.
go and speak to someone at the family planning clinic they will be able to help or ring the nhs helpline number. good luck
you can try your family plannin clinic..but i think you hav to giv them a really good reason as to why you wud want to do this....but they are very confidental//
