It would be a home computer and we would mainly be using it for internet access, downloading (although not huge file sizes), storing digital photos and possibly for creating some excel and word files.
Price is a huge consideration. I'm confused as to what processors and RAM are, and more pertinently, what the minimum requirements would be.
Any general advice on choosing a PC would be gratefully received.
ThanksCan I get some advice on choosing a desktop pc?
If price is a big factor, I would stick with AMD CPU and atleast 512mb Ram or 1GB ram. If you get one with lower ram say 256mb or 512mb you can easily upgrade it for around $40-$75 for the extra ram. 512mb should do for the start though then I would upgrade it later on..ThanksCan I get some advice on choosing a desktop pc?
