The cat (Reno) is 7 yrs old and has never lived with kids or other animals. The puppy (Maggie) is a 9 week old beagle mix adopted from a shelter. Reno hisses and growls at Maggie and seems to come over because he's jealous or just to tease the pup.Does anyone have any advice on getting my cat to get along with my new puppy?
give it time to adjust. sometimes it takes up to 6 months for cats to adjust to new animals
